It´s founded in 1995 in Berlin. In addition to expanding and maintaining quality standards, the non-profit association is committed to the further development of the profession through 1. the provision of continuing education and 2. the Institute for Drama Therapy. Furthermore, there is a Bachelor´s program in conjunction with a scientific institute for arts therapies in the University Nürtingen.
